About Checkout Registry

Checkout Registry is an independent registry of agentic checkout infrastructure — the buy-side APIs that complete a purchase at a merchant, callable from any app or agent. It records what each one does — coverage, execution model, payment, auth, protocols, returns, regions, and more — with every claim sourced from the provider's own docs. Free to read on the site and through the API.

Who runs it

Checkout Registry is built and maintained by Nate Pegram (natepegram.com). It's an independent project — not operated by, affiliated with, or endorsed by any listed provider, and not representative of any employer.

How it stays neutral

• Everything is public. Every run, trial, and test — success and failure — is published with its evidence. Nothing is tested privately and reported selectively.
• The methodology is public and versioned, and each verification is pre-registered — we publish what we'll test, and how, before we run it.
• Same bar for everyone. Each provider is tested against its own documented claims, using identical public criteria.
• Every result comes with re-runnable evidence.

The data is open

All of it is accessible and free. Read it on the site — every provider has a full profile — or pull it live from the JSON API. Every capability carries a status (claimed / verified / failed / unverifiable), a source quote, and a last-reviewed date. Undocumented gaps are shown as "not documented," never hidden.
